Monday Mural #2:

26 Mar

The CARNAVAL mural is a block long mural on Harrison Street between 18th and 19th Street in the city’s (SF) Mission District. The artist is Joshua Sarantitis. I don’t know anything about the artist, but his work is excellent.

Maybe next time I’d go back and photograph the mural in its entirety.

Great looking mural! I liked your shots of some of the details, which makes it easier to appreciate the artist’s work – virtually – !

Your close-ups help us appreciate the nuance in this bright mural. The technique reminds me of the great Mexican muralists. Thanks, ewok, for participating in this week’s Monday Mural.
