For Christmas as in other holidays, I don’t go overboard with decorating. I stick to the basic mellow decorations. I put up the tree, string some lights, and put out the simple manger scene.
The photos are from the past year/s. Still these are the same special decorations I put out every year.

The combination of themes today left me scratching my head. What a toughie it is. As far as I remember I only have two photos of cars (and detail perhaps). So I’ll show you both today.
The first one has whimsical details and bursts into an environmental friendly green color. Spotted at a street festival many years ago.
The next one is a classic car seen at California Museum of Oakland, with classic detailing and bursting in red. Please identify this car for those in the know.
My apologies for missing out last week’s postings. The Thanksgiving Holidays happened and because of that I didn’t have time for blogging for a few days.
But I’m back today with the combination theme of glass and creativity. The stained glass windows on churches show tremendous creativity on the artist’s part, don’t you think?
When I saw the theme for SOMETHING RUSTY I panicked a bit. I don’t particularly seek out rusty things to photograph, but then I remember that I photographed this rusty wheel or something on the rocky banks of Goat Rock Beach, I knew my search is OVER and that with this one image I was able to tackle the combined themes for today.
My favorite fruit is the tomato. From the beefstake and heirloom to the grape and cherry varieties and everything else in between I love them all, although some more than others.
I think it’s pretty neat that the tomato lover has a lots of varieties to choose from.
I am just going to shoot from the hip here and say I believe that Italian cuisine has a more global appeal than Chinese cuisine….go ahead discuss 🙂
