R is for rainforest.
A huge part of the rainforest in Tortuguero, Costa Rica can only be explored by water. Boating in the canals is a wonderful way to enjoy the flora and fauna of the rainforest. At least you don’t get muddied boots – just kidding 🙂

Nothing about this seasonal scene angers me. On the contrary, this gives me so much pleasure. On the other hand, it may anger the city workers whose job it is to clean this up.

The sky above a small church somewhere in the Eureka area on May 26, 2012. It rained on and off that day. It has the same sky as we have right now. It’s raining off and on here too today and yesterday. Hope all’s safe and fine and my prayers go to the ones affected by Sandy.
