On the day after Thanksgiving while many went to the stores to shop, we went driving out in the Napa Valley and Clearlake area. We wanted some fresh air and some autumn sightings. I posted this day trip here.

Today’s Flowers: #2
Helichrysum, most commonly known as everlasting in the Philippines. I have very little knowledge about flowers’ name, but this one I fortunately know the name.

Hubby and I are fans of David Letterman and his show. We always catch his monologue before we retire for the night. And one of the things he always talk about was the proliferation of rats in the city and in the subway system. Therefore when we visited NYC in 2009, the first thing we did when we took the subway was to scour the platform for rats. No rats, thankfully, but we saw this sign.
