Skywatch #270
Hoped you all had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.
This fall and have been very wet around here. It has been raining almost everyday. On Christmas day, we even had to stop and look outside because it was hailing!
Today however our skies have cleared up, although the weathermen have assured us that the rains would be back tomorrow.
This picture I’m sharing with you was taken on December 16, 2012, a very wet day. We were driving around Napa Valley just because we had a little free time between shopping and cleaning.
May 2013 be a very productive year for all of us. Peace.

Skywatch #269: Domes & Indian sky
This year is nearly over. But it feels like a lifetime ago since I visited India instead instead of just a few months ago. Here are a few dome shots against the Indian sky, which is for the most part hazy.

ABC Wednesday #28: W
In the summer 2011, a group of us armed with vouchers from Travelzoo, drove 1.5 hours to reach American River and start our day of adventure. We did our first ever (so far only one) white water rafting. It was so much fun.
First you float along quiet stretch of the river for the better half of the day. Then you stop for a bbq dinner that your guides prepare.
After lunch and a brief rest which meant it was our last chance to visit the potty before we get back to the park, we floated along some more to more rocky stretches. We hit the white water and the shouting and hooting began.
Then we were completely washed out. We went through 2 more of this before the trip was over. Twas fun!

I was hoping to post something more relevant to the season; however, I cannot seem to find a Christmas tree with bell ornament in my archive. Note to self this Holiday, start shooting Christmas trees 🙂
