My World #89: Confused?

It’s Autumn isn’t it? So why is my apple tree just started to sprout new blossoms? I was waiting for the leaves to change colors, I wasn’t ready for another round of blossoming. The photos are taken this past Saturday. Anybody else have seen this before?

And our red rose is brimming with flowers, I am so happy. This rose was planted on the ground at the last place we lived. We dug it up and brought it with us with the move. I think it’s time to make a decision whether to plant it on the ground again or repot it to a bigger pot.

That’s what’s been happening in my world. SHOW YOUR WORLD has plenty more posts.

Your roses are so beautiful and your confused apple tree is a treat to see. I’ve never seen that happen with apple trees before although I’ve see it with flowering bushes that get confused. Great shots.

We saw rhododendron and azalea in bloom this past weekend in Kentucky. I definitely wasn’t expecting that. Your rose is just beautiful.

The apple blossoms blooming now is very peculiar! But even in Canada some roses bloom again in autumn.

I too can offer no further explanation as to why your over enthusiastic Apple tree is performing an encore. As for the beautiful and prolific rose, reward it with a place in the soil.

Great pair of photos. The roses definitely need more root room one way or another.

Beautiful photos, but not expected at this time of year. Whatever the calendar says, it’s still midsummer here, I’ve never seen it stay this hot this late in the year. It’s not uncommon for us to have had snow by now, but we’ve been nowhere near freezing yet!

That’s right! It’s apple picking season now. Since I don’t really know much about plants, I will not attempt to even figure it out. 🙂 But I love that rose plant of yours. Didn’t realize it grows that high. I agree with Rob, reward it with a place in your garden.

My world is turning to autumn colors with no confusion. Thanks for sharing your lovely “spring” blossoms – we need them even more out of season.

What beauties…each one. I love the flowering apple tree…even if it is confused. Have your temperatures been spring like?

The roses…so lovely, so vivid and full of life.

We have a rhododendron that threw out just one, single flower about a week ago. We had a very, very wet spring and I think most of the plants were confused all summer.

It is a very strange thing. I’ve noticed that my apple tree has also blossomed and we’ve only just picked our apples last week (13th October)! A lot of bulbs have also appeared on the tree. It’s the first time that we’ve ever seen such a thing. It is very odd and I’m confused. Apparently, it is supposed to bring us good luck?
