I’ve heard many wonderful things about this castle, and I would dearly love to see it in person.

The one time I was in the area and this was closed! I’m still waiting to go back.

What a beautiful place! I was there 30+ years ago; we drove up the beautiful road to the castle and walked the grounds; didn’t have enough money to take the tour!

I have never been back there since the late 80’s. A very neat place to explore!

We were in that area almost 30 years ago; young family on a soldiers pay and we couldn’t afford the entry. Maybe next time we get out that way…

I have always been curious about this estate…and now I am wondering what has ever happened to Patti Hearst. Geeze….all of that was so long ago. genie

I’ve seen photos of the inside too… pretty over the top, in my books.
[No, you’re no killjoy… I’m not so fond of the NY noise myself. 🙂 ]
