Last winter while on a day trip to Lake Tahoe (mainly a day of shooting), I stumbled upon these “broken” trees/trunks, and I immediately thought Photo Hunt. Of course I was thinking of themes like snapped , sad, or lonely, etc.
Finally, the wait has paid off. There is a theme where I can use these images.
Photo Hunt is a weekly meme hosted by TNCHICK. Please join us in the hunt.

I’ve always thought trees like this make great pictures. However, unlike you, I never think ahead! 🙂

I love the first image. Looks like two separate trees, broken and still together! Perfect for Valentine’s Day.

These are really neat…they look like giant antlers. I love the essence of life which remains in that which is no more~

I am so late to check this entry. You had a very interesting entry. In a way, this reminded me of my playmates in gradeschool. Pinaglalaruan namin yung mga natumbang puno, pagkatapos ng bagyo.
