    Hibiscus rosa sinensis. I remember that Scientific Name from our Botany class way back circa 1994. Incidentally, it’s also the National flower of Malaysia🙂

    The Hibiscus are blooming well all over So Cal in the last week due to a hot, humid end of August!

    This is gorgeous! This would be a great challenge to paint! I take photos of flowers and paint them. Or I paint from other people’s photos with their permission.

        Wow! That’s great! I don’t know exactly when I’ll get to it, though. I will have to get a good printout of it off our computer first and then go from there. Thanks so much!
