Photo Hunt #218: What makes you happy/Flow

What makes me happy is watching the water flow so quietly, so softly, almost meditatively in Merced River inside Yosemite NP. Photos are from previous year’s visit.



Just for comparison’s sake, there is a stretch of this river where the serenity pictured in the images above is nonexistence, you’d think they’re from two different rivers.

    Lovely pics all but have to say that I love the first and last ones most. And yes, what a contrast that last pic is with the earlier ones. Your first photo in particular has a really serene feel to it.

    Both states of the river make me happy. It would make me even happier to see the river in person.

    the photos that same river that you compared was like tranquility meets anger in the end.
    can be analogous to mood swings too! hahaha! my imagination kicks in!
