Signs, Signs #96:

13 Mar

IMGP3450

We waited for elk sighting where they said you can find elk, but we never saw one. Frustrated we drove back to the hotel and voila, the elks were grazing along the freeway. There was no place to park in the busy Highway 101 so no photographs of them.

Too bad you missed a photo opportunity of the elks, but you got a great photo of the sign.

We’ve had that exact experience. Frustrating…but they are wild animals and just don’t necessarily follow our schedule!

    Are they that dangerous?

I think elk can be dangerous during mating season. Pretty landscape around the sign too.

Sorry you missed the photo-op of the elk. Looks like they’d better find their way to the place where the sign is located. Lots of grazing needing to be done!
