Signs, Signs #94

Old town Eureka retains much of its Victorian architecture. It boasts of many shops and restaurants. I was particularly enamored with its antique shops where I browsed but did not buy.

I photographed plaques describing the buildings.

    We love Eureka! Thanks for the memories. When we lived in Eugene (Oregon) we often used to drive down the coast to Eureka/Arcata for a long weekend

    Beautiful, colorful buildings and great historical information on the signs.

    I love the colourful buildings! I am always fascinated to read the history of these old commercial buildings.

    Oh they look so pretty and fresh. That must have all been done since we left 12 years ago because they sure didn’t look like that then
