I’m quite sure – just like me – these tourists are not only enjoying the sight of the ruins, but are also soaking in the lovely cloudscape overhead. From the oldies folder. Yucatan Peninsula. June 2010.

What a wonderful sight you have captured. My husband and I have seen lots in Belize and in areas around Cancun and they always thrill me. The sky in this shot is absolutely awesome. Beautiful color and fluffy colds Nice work. genie

Oh yes, we were lucky enough to take a few winter vacations in the Caribbean back when we worked and it is sometimes hard to think about the wonders you’re seeing, when all you want to do is revel in the sunshine and blue sky!

We visited some Mayan ruins this past December. They’re really amazing. In some ways, the Mayans were ahead of their times. The clouds really set these ruins off. 🙂
Happy weekend!!!
