Photo Hunt #174: Local Street/Texture

27 Apr

P1030579
When we went to Puerto Vallarta (2011) I noticed that the local street has rough texture, from the cobblestone. Most of the downtown area has cobblestone.

Not too far away from downtown the local street is unpaved. A totally different texture from the cobblestone.

LOCAL STREET is the theme for GATTINA’S KEYHOLE PICTURES.

TEXTURE is the theme for SANDI’S WHISTLE STOP PHOTO HUNT.

You did a wonderful job of illustrating the themes in both pictures.

What a contrast! I prefer the one paved with cobblestones.

I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta…but I swear, the first glance I thought it may be New Orleans. Beautiful images.

My Photo Post today is: BUTTERFLY HOUSE Textures

I remember those cobblestone streets in Puerto Vallarta very well…we went there quite a few years ago when Bill was still recovering from foot surgery after a bad fall — we stayed at a nice resort, but one day he felt like going into town — those streets weren’t easy for him to negotiate I can tell you ….. we loved it though and were glad we went in to the “real” town, because the resort could have been anywhere. (It served its recuperative purpose though).
