This is an artist rendering of Las Ramblas in Barcelona. I saw this on a wall on some street somewhere in Barcelona. Photo taken November 2009.

Welcome to Monday Mural, Ewok. This is a dazzling first choice. I recognize Picasso and Dali but I bet there’s lots more references to Spanish artists in this dense image. This is the kind of image that makes you linger a long while. Wish I had seen it when in Barcelona. As you know by now, there’s a glitch with the thumbnail. I sent you an email. In the meantime, thanks for participating in this week’s post and welcome aboard.

I so agree with Oakland DP… what a stunning mural! I enlarged it as big as it would go… and it is worthy of a looong look! Your shot could be made into a postcard, Ewok!

This is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much to see, I would have a neck-ache just standing in front of it!

Count me in also as being truly amazed with the detail in this mural. This is one of those paintings that every time you look at it you see something missed before. I think I even see Elvis on the left side.

For your first entry you really out-did everyone with such a beautiful complicated or shall I say busy piece. So much to see. Well done.

Looks like a perfect choice for the mural meme — it’s a beauty. Sallie (FullTime-Life) — commenting under my Word Press alias since it’s the only way I can comment ;>)
