Signs, Signs #43:

07 Dec

At the Miami Int’l Airport parking lot, I saw these taxicabs with signs of different countries. Anybody here know why this is?

It seems very appropriate for an airport in setting an international mood. I like it!

Maybe it makes it easier to remember which cab you were in in case you forget your camera? “I was in the Argentina cab”!!???

It makes for an intriguing international signs picture, though, whatever the reason!

I adore this shot…love the yellow cabs all there together. It is interesting that there are different nationalities on the cabs. Maybe that is so people will have a driver who speaks their language. genie

I join the others… no idea why each cab has a country sign… but it gave you a cool shot!

That’s a great shot. I don’t know why the cabs have different country signs.

I think the photohunters transition was confusing. Gattina didn’t realize there was going to be a vote, although early on she had let TN chick know she’d be happy to host. What happened was she didn’t hear back so went ahead on Sunday and asked people that visited her who wanted to participate to let her know and she then quickly posted a theme list here: and her post will go up at midnight her time which is 9:00 pm eastern standard time and 6:00 pm your time. I think I have that right.

I did post in the TN Chick comments that Gattina had started one prior to realizing there was a vote, so there may end up being more than one version. In a way it’s too bad that all those interested in hosting can’t do it as co-hosts like they do with Our World, SkyWatch and ABC Wednesday, since there were a number of people that wanted to host but since Gattina had already started this one, I’ll probably just do hers or may do hers and one other photohunters in the same post after a new host is picked.

I think the problem is a lot of people aren’t on Facebook and didn’t go back to TN chick’s site after she announced she would no longer be hosting so a group of people that knew about Gattina’s went with that and others who knew about the vote will probably go with that or do more than one.

    Happy Weekend.
