Watery Wednesday #112:

28 Jun

Mazatlan is considered one of the top shrimp producers. Shrimping boats on the dock.

I can’t tell if this boat going out or coming in from a day of shrimping.

I had never really thought about how the shrimp got to the table… Same way as the fish and the crabs…
But I agree about having shrimp for lunch…

For a moment I thought it was a ship graveyard. They definitely look used, don’t they? šŸ™‚

Great captures! They look like very traveled vessels that have caught plenty of shrimp.

Beautiful shot of the boats and harbor. Some fresh shrimp would taste really good right now.

I haven’t been to Mazatlan for 40 years but am going again in March and looking forward to it very much. In the meantime, my parents had a winter home in a shrimp-fishing village in Baja for almost 30 years, and I love to see shrimp boats. Thanks for a real treat!

You commented on my blog that you hadn’t been in Yosemite this year, but it doesn’t seem that Mazatlan is not bed either! Love the view of the boats!
