That’s an amazing sky. It looks like something out of a movie. So much drama. To answer your question, I don’t know why the flowers in the tree in my post have such a short bloom where you live. Where I live, they often bloom and are then hit by a hard frost or they are about to bloom and it gets so cold the blossoms are lost. They are fine with very cold weather when the buds are tiny but once they get full they are vulnerable.

Beautiful hue of the sky! Sometimes I feel like those point and shoot cameras do take better pictures than the big, fancy cameras.

Wow! I’m jealous! Such a fab sky and terrific lighting. Does your camera REALLY have a sunset mode?
March 4, 2011 at 1:11 am
That is absolutely gorgeous! It goes to show, it’s more about the photographer than the camera!

This is one of those beautiful skies that just sticks in your memory for ages. It is a real marvel of nature. The coloration is bourgeois. Lovely shot.

I’d like sunset mode on my camera too if that is what it can achieve.
Quite spectacular and much more 3-D than with most incredibly expensive equipment..
