Window Views and Doors Too #35: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church

25 Aug

St. Mark's Lutheran Church

Was driving by this neighborhood, a common route we take when running some errands in the city, when I found a small window of opportunity (read: traffic has stopped) to photograph the doors of St. Mark’s in San Francisco.

I suggest you check out this link to view the entire church. Thanks.

What a beautiful capture of tones and contrasts. Nice symmetry, also.

Thanks for the link as well as this picture. I’m glad the traffic stopped so you could get the picture.

I am glad you had your camera for this “window of opportunity!” This is beautiful and the lady even color coordinated her top for the photo op! Beautiful composition!

This photo encourages me to see what the rest of the church is like. It must be utterly beautiful, as is your photograph.

Great shot through the window of your car! The building is fascinating with two differently styled towers. The tower windows that must be over the stairs are interesting also.

They really knew how to build churches in those days! Beautiful detailing…enjoy the cooler temps!
