Photo Hunt #95: Orange

13 Aug

Sunset Glow Over Golden Gate From Marine Headlands

Why post the Golden Gate Bridge for a theme on ORANGE? It’s because the Golden Gate Bridge is painted in INTERNATIONAL ORANGE.

This is another duplicate theme. Orange was also my PH #53,which I posted on 9/04/09.

And I’m so glad to learn that you’re going to adopt an orange tabby to join Emma! They are wonderful cats.

Great shot of the international orange bridge. I have to admit that golden gate bridge has a better ring to it. I am embarrassed that I never remember when we’ve done duplicate themes. Happy weekend.

missing sanfo now! i’m one of the many who marveled at its structure; didn’t imagine each pole is made up of thousands of cables until i saw it myself.
i wonder when can i taste clam chowder again; relax in fisherman’s wharf, ride the cable cars and stroll along palace of fine arts. *sigh*

Beautiful — and I learnt something here: i.e., didn’t know that there’s actually a kind of orange color actually called “international orange”! πŸ˜€

Clever of you to look up ORANGE in Wikipedia! I think that ‘international orange’ is the same deep colour orange that my guy has on his clothing in my PH-post.
The only thing that is wrong is that according to PH-rules you really should have a photo that you have taken yourself.

    Happy Weekend

You have a great shot of the GG bridge!!!

I did not know about “International’ Orange. I just knew that the orange was so travelers by ship can see the bridge through the fog… or so I heard…

Mine is now up too. It’s right here:
