Sky Watch #94: I am a cloud junkie!

10 Jun

When our European cruise was over and the last leg of the trip was underway, I thought that my camera would be taking a much needed break for that 10 something hour flight from Amsterdam (we flew out of Schiphol Airport) to SFO.  How wrong was I.  The clouds above Amsterdam were just too beautiful to not photograph.  Here are three of the shots I took as we were cruising above the clouds on that November 2009 day.

Sky Watch is a weekly gathering of sky lovers and sky watchers.  Please join us.

Why is it whenever I am in a plane I get dirty windows, or a honking great wing in my view?!

    Good morning Ma’am,

Thanks for the visit and the comment. I went to visit you in your other blog but I could not leave a comment. It was in my heart the Frankly My Dear blog and glad to be back on track again. This little Angel kept me away from blogging for a while on top of the problem I had in posting comments that I just temporarily gave up.

Back to the beautiful clouds above, yes, the real encounter of those fairy floss in the sky are far too irresistible not to capture in the camera. I personally wouldn’t miss them for a crown.

I can see why you couldn’t resist a photo of two. They’re lovely clouds. Interesting how they have peaks and valleys, much like puffy mountains.

Small wonder you could not resist these. Like pristine melt-snow just aching to be gobbled up by children who, of course, have been forbidden to eat snow. Irresistible.
