Sky Watch #92: Watching the sunset

27 May

Our first sea day we were able to watch the sunset on the deck.  You may notice that there seems to be no one around.  It looks like that on this picture.  This was when the wind picked up and it was cold, so people watched the sunset away from the wind path.

Sky Watch is a weekly gathering of sky watchers and sky lovers. Join us.

Sunset over the water, one of life’s most sublime moments.

I’ve entered a major international photo competition (details are on my blog) and would be most grateful if you’d click through and rate my portfolio (just click on the stars at the bottom (preferably the 5th star – “fantastic” – LOL), easy peasy, no registration or personal details needed). Thanks so much!

Hi Ewok, that’s a dreamy shot of the sunset!

Thanks for the visit and yes, we are having occasional rains now that made our skies grey in the afternoons. but morning to early afternoon, the skies are just so great and the beach are so inviting for swimming.

The nice thing about tropical countries is that you will have sunny skies whole year through. 🙂

    Happy weekend!

some say appreciating sunset is being pessimistic; i say otherwise.
loving the sunset means believing that there’s sunrise too! 🙂
    this one is nicely captured.

Now that’s a gorgeous sky and water scene! If you hadn’t said anything about it being cold, I would have thought that it was balmy warm!! Thanks for stopping by at my SWF shot. I took it at one of my favorite skyviewing places just a few minutes from my home.
