Yes that’s Alcatraz in the background. This pier is the one at the foot of Van Ness I think they call the SF municipal pier.

Very nice, Ewok. I like the way the cloud divides the sky into two colors on the diagonal. And the sailboat next to Alcatraz is nice touch as well.

That stone wall is great for those fisherman, sitting or laying against it for rest and support throughout a day of fishing.
