Watery Wednesday #48: Lake Chabot

02 Mar

We went for a walk one Saturday and I found his meditative stance too difficult to ignore.  So I took a photo in the hope of sharing it with you later on.

And when that was accomplished, we went on with our walk.

More watery images are here.

What a beautiful place for a walk and wonderful shots. I love the great blue heron (or that’s what I think it is).

The heron stands so still in the water just waiting for a fish to swim by…gulp, gulp. Great shots.

A lovely heron and wonderful reflection shot. You can really relax by looking at one of these. They don’t move very fast, you can just feel the daily stresses leaving after watching one for a while. That pretty walk would do that too.

That one is funny! I go on walks around the lake sometimes with my friend. Only I like to take photos and she likes to just go, go, go without stopping at all, so I slow her down. Your second scene is beautiful.

Lovely shots, the Heron looks like enjoying the water and air….as if he’s looking from afar. I bet you had a great walk.

    Have a great day.

Hope your Wednesday is treating you well.

You have so many beautiful regional parks in the bay area, I’m jealous. Of course, we have our own here in the foothills and they are nice, too. Oaks but no redwoods or distant ocean views.
