Skywatch #74

21 Jan

In the past few days we have seen nothing but grey skies, buckets of rain, and howling wind.  In the Sierras, the buckets of rain translate into snow.  This means of course that I again had no time to snap some photos, which is not really a tragedy considering that there is nothing but grey skies to photograph around here.  This is where Mr. Archives who lives in the Vault comes into play.  So glad that there seems to be plenty in the vault to use for now.

Here’s the sun setting over the Pacific.  Behind me is the Golden Gate Bridge.

Skywatch is a weekly gathering of sky lovers and sky watchers. Join us.

Glorious! That is a fabulous sunset over the Pacific. I had to settle for the gray skies but the snowy Mt. Baldy saved the day for me. Let’s hope for a little sunshine this weekend because my son-in-law’s brother is getting married on Saturday. And, then it can rain all it wants after that!

The sunset colors is so gorgeous and so dramatic. We are expecting blue skies this weekend, and that’s Mr. Weatherman saying, but who knows, we have crazy weather these past few days.
