Whenever I go out to a new place, sightseeing and shopping/browsing are part of the package.  My shopping destinations are mostly those that sell carvings, pottery, and stones, like this one. I love polished semi-precious stones in all the yummy colors.  I may not always come out of the store with a purchase, but the time I spent inside is precious to me.

TWTW shows signs, signage, road, roadways, etc.  Join us.

Hi Ewok, there’s no way I could delete your link coz MckLinky is still new and developments are still going on. Anyway, I just placed a corrected link there. And yeah, it’s part and parcel to go shopping or window shopping and see what the place has got. Nice signages, the stone age must be a perfect place for antiques. Thanks for joining.

No antiques. Stone age is named not because the products are old, but they are made of stone — gemstones, etc.

Looks like a fun place to visit. Was it California or Nevada by chance?

Nevada. Virginia City to be exact.

This store would be a place I would hang out. I occasionally do costume jewelry.

Colourful stones are always fine attraction to me. I use them to hold the flower vases in place so my cats won’t be able to knock them down.

They also have kind of healing power, I heard?

i think this would be an interesting place. Haven’t been to one like this, but been to a jewelry store of all kind of precious stones in Bangkok. They were really expensive that we went out with no purchase. 🙂

This looks like such a lovely store. I love gemstones too. Thank you for showing us this place in Nevada.

I gotta agree with, it isn’t every time that we need to purchase what we deem as beautiful to admire them 🙂
