Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean last Sunday. Yeah, I know, most of you have seen it; it has been playing for over a month. What do I think? Just okay, but if and when they make another one I am sure that I will see that one too.

Also last Sunday, we attended a food fest hosted by the merchants of the two or three blocks of San Pablo Avenue and University Avenue. This is the first time I have heard of this; it could probably be the first one in this part of Berkeley. There is one food fest thrown by the Gourmet Ghetto neighborhood that is well attended every year; hence, was so glad that this neighborhood is having its own. We eat in this neighborhood anyway, especially shop at the Indus Market for fresh goat meat and spices. There are more Indian restaurants in this area than I can remember, so we overloaded on pakora, samosa, and something else I cannot remember now. We also went to check out some Mexican food offered by two different restaurants — both disappointed us. It has no authentic Mexican taste. The food we get from the restaurants in our neighborhood are much better. And I must admit, El Pollo Loco has more authentic taste than these.
