In Fonda Vela (Costa Rica), we were served freshly made pineapple-mango-papaya marmalade, made from fresh fruits, no artificial preservatives. My dining companions went crazy over the marmalade that the waiter gave us this bowl of the good stuff. They normally give you a very small bowl, like a rameken size. Me? I thought the “good stuff” was a tad too sweet, which soured my taste for it. But it was good.

The marmalade was served with this.
ARTIFICIAL is the theme for GATTINA’S KEYHOLE PICTURES.
FRESH is the theme for SANDY’S WHISTLE STOP PHOTO HUNT.

What an interesting looking breakfast spread. Have to admit to finding it a bit weird to see cheese and rice on the same plate… but hey, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it, right? :b
