Summer is here and so is fun outdoors, camping, swimming, fishing, etc.
This is one of my most fave shots. Man teaches boy the basics of fishing. When my brother saw this image, he commented that it also looks as if the boy is the one giving instructions to the man about fishing. What do you think?

I think the boy is insisting his way, and the grown up wants it his way! Nevertheless, it is a beautiful photograph!
He should mayby bend over towards the kid if he wants to teach him… I don’t know. I like it and I understand very much that it’s one of your favourite shots.
I’m going to have to say the boy has a greater look of authority on his face. (But my daughter has that same look and she hasn’t a clue what she’s talking about a good deal of the time!)
Hmmm … methinks the boy may be asking questions?

I agree with your brother…I tend to get loads of instructions from kids I know.
Very nice image! I think the boy is studying the reel so he’ll know what to do when it’s his turn to cast out the line.
I think the story could go both ways! They both seem to be enjoying themselves.

Perhaps neither of them know what’s going on and they’re passing the rod between themselves trying to figure out just how it works.

It looks like they are discussing it quite on an even level here. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the child knew just as much as the adult about fishing. Nice capture of a moment in life.
